Stwollage

One of our favorite mispronunciations of the month.

Best rolling bag

We took a late flight home from NC on Monday night, and I had to memorialize the first time Annie ever carried her own bag. Her "Cars" rolling bag is a new fave.

Car naps

Poor feverish Annie and Bodie took a nap in the car before we got to the park for a walk on Monday. They are too sweet.

Mall trip

Annie started to get sick on Day 3 of the trip, so we took it easy... a trip to the mall was in order. Got new flashy sneakers and some Hello Kitty pinwheels. Nice.

Nose kisses

I love the way the girls are playing here. This is on our trip to the mall. Before we did the fabulous studio photoshoot at Sears (ha! love it!).

Monkey Joe's

Day 2 (I think? it's all blurring together) we had a blast at Monkey Joe's - which is this incredible bounce house place...

Ev, Mary and I had such fun bouncing with the girls (Christian stayed home with Bodie) - and I see on their website that they're opening one in Danvers soon... we are THERE.

Dance parties don't need music

Well we just got to NC to visit our friends Mary and Christian, and their cutie pies Hanne and Bodie. Annie immediately loved dancing around on their new deck with Hanne - and they didn't even need tunes.

Choreography

But the best part is Hanne leading the girls' choreography here:

The Bode-man and his watermelon

I don't have enough video of gorgeous 17 month old Bodie. Apologies for my annoying babytalk - he's just delicious, isn't he?

The best barbie house ever

Annie couldn't believe her luck - a whole house of toys to play with? The best dollhouse ever? Mary's dollhouse from when she was little - custom built in the seventies to fit Barbies... just too perfect. But really, the best part of this video is Hanne gently explaining (towards the end of the video), that these are all her toys...

Naming conventions

Her thing these days is to give these fantastic made up names for her dolls. Usually they sound somehow Hawaiian, not sure why...

Dancing morphs into gymnastics

But that's cool...

Jane Fonda look out (headband and all)

The best part is that she has this kind of energy and she's listening to Peter Gabriel.

Haulk the Herald...

This is kind of a weird, non-sequitur filled video, but really, that's life with a 2 1/2 year old, after all. I didn't edit out the beginning part on purpose so you can see how quickly our beloved can go from zero to pissed, for really really no reason... then the end is great because I love her pronunciation of this word.
