Bubble stuck to yo' head

It's pretty fun when a bubble sticks to your head and stays there. Yup, pretty durn funny.

My friend Emma is hilarious

Emma got Annie laughing so hard today, her laughing was fantastic. She started running back and forth in and out of the room, and Anna thought she was just the coolest friend ever.

Gentlemen, start your engines

There's no stopping her now. It's been about a week that she's been really getting places - check her out. Mum says it looks like she saw a photo of a baby crawling and is trying to mimic it, with the high hand movements...

Wicked boring video, but cute hat

It was just absurd how cute she was in her summer hat in the stroller today, but this video is shockingly boring - don't get excited.

Look out, Arthur Fonzarelli

AL (Aunt Lindsay) sent her a jean jacket, and she's now fondly referred to, by almost everyone who sees us, as "little dude". But no matter, she's the cutest little Fonz around.

Give me that water, immediately

Nothing is more fun (except maybe her zebra) than a bottle or glass of water these days. She loves to reach for water we're drinking or even her own sippy cup and feed it to herself.

Singing while chewing on Gran's finger

Anna's quite the songstress these days. And any song is better when you're chewing on a finger, watching the birds.

Squat little calves

We figure that someday she might be a bit taller than she is right now, so we might want to remember the time when, sitting on Gran and Grandfather's front steps, her feet didn't reach the ground.

Crawling in her Easter dress

In the past couple of days, she's started to be able to get places with her crawling. It's incredible - here's a sample of the slight movement we call "crawling".

Big girl carseat

Annie in her big girl carseat. At 6 months old, she outgrew her infant carseat and moved into this one... she's growing up so fast.

Bang, Bang, Bang!

After a meal of peaches, rice cakes and other delicacies, Anna bangs her spoon with pleasure.

This is a woman who will not be told what to do

The first of many times I'll ask her to do something and she'll do the opposite.

Ready, set, GO!

Look who's really really really close to crawling. I took two different videos of her attempts this afternoon, and couldn't decide which was more hilarious, and so had to combine them into one. She's so intent on crawling, mum thinks she'll be crawling in the next two weeks!

Who's your daddy?

She is a champ at one particular phrase - to the delight of her father :) And yes, I do pan out so you can see her capri pants, by far my favorite garment she's sporting these days. I love how intensely she says DaDaDa, and then "Oh, look, a tag. I'm going to eat that."

Fantastic sippy cup control

"Drinking" out of a big girl cup. So many advances, one big six month old girl! That's "drinking" used loosely, of course. Chewing is also a good descriptor.

Big girl at the pediatrician's office

Ignore the fact that I call her a 16 month old... too many numbers flying around in this one, and I have a headcold. Sue me. But isn't her tubby little tummy just the best thing you've seen all day?

First venture into fried-food heaven

Since she's a very mature 6 month old girl today, Annie's treat was a trip to McDonalds. (Not because she was fussy in the car and we needed to find somewhere to stop, or anything.) Do you believe she can sit up in the toddler chair in a restaurant?

Did you have fun?

Did you like getting your feet squashed in clay, Anna bear? (Warning, uber boring video - nothin' happening here)

Feet of Clay

We went down to Salt Marsh Pottery in Dartmouth, MA today to have Anna's handprints and footprints made into a tile. I felt like a bit of a losah whipping out the video phone mid-foot-squashing, and so took this after, for posterity.

1:02:03 am on 04/05/06 - and six months old!

The truly geeky/number-obsessed mother is showing herself in this one. How cool is it that our little girl turns six months old on the one day in a hundred years that goes 1-2-3-4-5-6? Not to mention that she was born SIX MONTHS ago (yikes) at 10:02 AM on 10/05/2005 (if only she could have stayed in three more minutes, that would have been even cooler. At the time, though, "cool" wouldn't have been my word for it, when I was begging her to "just come out, baby". Instead I pleaded with the nurse writing down the time for her birth certificate to change it to 10:05 AM... to no avail. Where's the love, people?) Happy 1/2 birthday, sweetheart. More video to come later of our bday road trip.
